The internship is structured to give students valuable field experience and a deeper understanding of various psychological challenges faced by diverse populations. We believe this will enhance their learning and help them develop a holistic approach to addressing mental health concerns in real-life settings.

Dr. Mohit (Psychiatrist)
Dr. Mohit Sharma is a psychiatrist and neurologist specializing in de-addiction, ADHD, mood disorders, and dementia. His expertise ensures comprehensive mental and neurological care through evidence-based treatment, providing personalized support for individuals seeking better mental health.

Kanchan Gaur (Founder)
Kanchan Gaur is a holistic healer specializing in mindfulness, sound healing, and counselling for individuals, groups, and couples. Through brain breathing and deep relaxation techniques, she helps clients reduce stress, enhance emotional balance, and achieve mental clarity. Her therapies promote inner peace and overall well-being.

Bhumika Arora (Counselling Psychologist)
Bhumika Arora is a counselling psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, With experience in organizations and Fortis Healthcare, she now serves as a senior psychologist at Samrasa Foundation. She provides counselling, life skills training, and therapeutic interventions, conducting mental health awareness workshops in schools.

Harsimran Singh (Counselling Psychologist)
Harsimran Singh is a counselling psychologist passionate about mental health advocacy, research, and personal growth. He interventions with fitness coaching to promote overall well-being. His approach emphasizes the connection between mental and physical health, empowering individuals to lead balanced lives.
Key Components of the Internship Program:
- For Bachelor’s Students (Psychology):
- Counselling Observations in Government Schools: Interns will visit government schools and observe the counselling processes. This will help them understand the practical application of psychological theories in real-world scenarios.
- Practical Exposure: Interns will have the opportunity to engage in activities with school students under the guidance of our expert counsellors. They will observe how to address challenges such as behavioral issues, social adaptation, and emotional well-being.
- Understanding Teenage and Young Adult Challenges: This will enable students to better grasp the challenges faced by the adolescent age group and young adults, preparing them for future counselling and intervention work.
- IQ Testing and Personality Assessment Training: Mohit, a seasoned psychiatrist, will lead training sessions on administering IQ tests and personality assessments. Interns will undergo practical training and later conduct these tests under supervision in various settings.
- Counselling Skills Workshops: Experts in the field will provide in-depth sessions to develop and enhance counselling skills. These workshops will cover case history taking, mental state examination and different therapeutic approaches.
- Primary Research Guidance: Students will be guided in data collection methods for primary research, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world research.
- For Master’s Students (Psychology):
- Senior Citizen Club Visits: Students will be taken to different senior citizen clubs to observe and understand the mental health challenges faced by the geriatric population. This exposure will provide insight into common issues such as dementia, depression, and loneliness, and how psychologists can offer support.
- IQ Testing and Personality Assessment Training: Mohit, a seasoned psychiatrist, will lead training sessions on administering IQ tests and personality assessments. Interns will undergo practical training and later conduct these tests under supervision in various settings.
- Counselling Skills Workshops: Experts in the field will provide in-depth sessions to develop and enhance counselling skills. case history taking, mental state examination and different therapeutic approaches.
- Mental Health Disorders Insights: Interns will gain knowledge about a variety of mental health disorders, their symptoms, and effective treatments, preparing them for diverse clinical settings.
- Primary Research Guidance: Students will be guided in data collection methods for primary research, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world research.
- Training on EAP Program:we will be providing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) training session led by industry experts. This program is designed to equip you with valuable skills and knowledge to support your well-being and navigate challenges in the workplace.
